Questions pastors ask
Do I need a card for the free trial?
No. Your 14 days start when you create an account. If you choose a plan during the trial, the days you have left carry over, so your first charge comes when the trial ends.
What happens to my sermons if the trial ends?
They stay yours. You can still open, preach from Podium Mode, print and download every sermon. Writing new ones and editing pause until you choose a plan.
Does Homileto use AI?
No. There are no AI features in Homileto. Your sermons are private to you and are never used to train anything.
Can I use the NKJV, NIV or ESV?
Licensed translations can’t be built in, but you can paste any version into a Scripture block with “Type it”, and open any passage on Bible Gateway in one tap. KJV, BSB, WEB, ASV and more are built in.
Does it work in Spanish?
For Scripture, yes: Reina-Valera 1909 and 1865 are built in, and references work in Spanish (“Juan 3:16”, “Sal 23:1-4”).
Will it work without internet at church?
Yes. Once you’ve opened Homileto online, it and every sermon open without a connection. Changes made offline sync when you’re back online.
How do I cancel or change plans?
Under Account, choose Manage billing. You can switch between monthly and yearly, update your card, see receipts or cancel there.
I have a coupon code. Where does it go?
Type it when you choose a plan, or follow the link you were given and it will be applied for you.
